Why See a Dedicated Uro-Oncologist?
Decisions in Urological Cancer affect both survival and everyday life for years. Specialist focus helps get them right.
Accurate staging first
MRI-targeted biopsy, CT urography and PSMA PET are used where they change decisions, so treatment matches the true extent of disease.
No over-treatment
Low-risk Prostate Cancers and small kidney masses are often safest under surveillance. That option is always put on the table.
Function-preserving surgery
Nerve-sparing prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy and organ-sparing penile surgery are used whenever cancer control allows.
Team decisions for complex cases
Advanced cases are planned with radiology, pathology, medical and radiation oncology colleagues.
Guideline-based plans
Recommendations follow current EAU and NCCN guidance and are adapted to each patient's age, health and priorities.
Follow-up that continues
A written surveillance schedule, review of every result and rehabilitation of continence and sexual function.
